Job Description: JME Energy is looking for a motivated and technically inclined Junior Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team.
The selected candidate will be involved in the design, programming, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and documentation of electrical and industrial automation systems.
This position is suitable for a fresh Electrical Engineering graduate seeking to build a career in industrial automation, PLC/HMI/SCADA, power systems, generator synchronization, solar PV, energy management, and industrial communication.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design and development of electrical control and automation systems.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, control circuit drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Assist with PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming/configuration.
- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP and RS485.
- Assist in integrating energy meters, energy analyzers, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, inverters, and other field devices.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site activities.
- Assist with generator, ATS/AMF, synchronization, solar PV, EMS, BESS, and other power-system projects.
- Analyze electrical and control-system faults and assist with corrective actions.
Job Specification:
- Foundational knowledge of electrical and electronic circuits, components, wiring, and measurement techniques.
- Ability to interpret basic electrical schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with multimeters, testing tools, fault diagnosis, and safe electrical work practices.
- Understanding of manufacturing, quality inspection, preventive maintenance, and documentation processes.
- Basic proficiency with MS Office for reports, records, and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical reasoning, and problem-solving ability.
- Effective communication and teamwork with engineering, production, and quality personnel.
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and work reliably in a manufacturing environment.
