Job Description:
Role OverviewRAHMS Trade Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented PSW GD Filing Operator for its Karachi operations. The role supports import and export clearance by preparing and submitting Goods Declarations through Pakistan Single Window (PSW), coordinating documentation, and tracking filings through completion. The operator will work with internal teams and relevant trade stakeholders to keep submissions accurate, compliant, and on schedule.
Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and submit import and export GDs in the PSW system using shipment and supporting documents.
- Check invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other trade paperwork for completeness and consistency before filing. Check all relevant SROs.
- Monitor declaration status, respond to queries, and support timely correction or amendment of submissions.
- Maintain organized digital records of declarations and supporting documents, following applicable customs and company procedures.
- Share filing updates and flag delays, compliance concerns, or document issues to the appropriate team.
This position is based in Karachi and requires careful handling of sensitive trade information, reliable follow-through, and a service-minded approach to coordination.
Job Specification:
- Practical ability to prepare and submit import/export Goods Declarations using Pakistan Single Window (PSW).
- Working knowledge of customs clearance documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Strong document review skills, with attention to data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Familiarity with import/export processes and customs compliance requirements in Pakistan.
- Comfortable tracking filing status, following up on pending information, and handling amendments or corrections.
- Clear written and verbal communication for coordination with clients, shipping teams, and customs agents.
- Good computer skills, including spreadsheets, email, and organized digital recordkeeping.
- Dependable time management, discretion with confidential trade records, and ability to meet filing deadlines.
