Job Description: AM Steel Industries Pvt Limited is a Lahore-based manufacturer and distributor of steel products, with a strong emphasis on quality. We are seeking a Cable Extruder Machine Operator to support reliable production operations at our Lahore facility. The successful candidate will operate extrusion equipment, monitor product quality and follow established safety and production procedures.
Responsibilities- Set up and operate cable extrusion machinery in line with production specifications and work instructions.
- Monitor machine settings, material feed, line speed and product dimensions throughout production.
- Inspect finished cable for defects and record production and quality checks accurately.
- Identify equipment or process issues, make authorized adjustments and report faults promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow plant safety requirements and personal protective equipment rules.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance colleagues to meet output targets and minimize downtime.
- Assist with routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.
This is an on-site manufacturing role in Lahore. Candidates should be dependable, attentive to detail and comfortable working around industrial machinery in a production environment.
Job Specification:
- Practical ability to operate or assist with cable extrusion or comparable continuous-production machinery.
- Understanding of machine setup, process parameters, material feeding and safe equipment start-up and shutdown.
- Ability to monitor production output and check cable dimensions and visible finish against specifications.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and sound judgment about when to stop a line and alert maintenance staff.
- Accurate completion of production, inspection and shift handover records.
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices, hazard awareness and appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions and maintain a clean, orderly workstation.
- Reliable teamwork, punctuality, attention to detail and readiness for a factory shift schedule.
