Job Description: Online Quran Learnings (OQL) is seeking tutors to teach mathematics and English to students in the United States during a schedule aligned with the U.S. shift. This remote role supports learners through clear explanations, structured lessons, and regular progress monitoring.
- Deliver engaging one-to-one or small-group mathematics and English lessons to students at varying learning levels.
- Prepare lesson plans and learning activities that reflect each student’s needs and course objectives.
- Explain concepts clearly, encourage participation, and adapt teaching methods when students need additional support.
- Assess understanding through exercises, assignments, and review; provide constructive feedback and track progress.
- Communicate professionally with students and, where appropriate, their families about learning goals and progress.
- Maintain punctuality, reliable attendance, and accurate lesson or student records while working the U.S.-aligned schedule.
The ideal tutor is patient, organized, and committed to creating a supportive online learning experience. This position is based in Lahore and is not designated as telecommuting.
