HEAD CHEF - EMIRATI STREET FOOD

We are launching an authentic Emirati street-food restaurant serving Luqaimat, Ragag, Jebab/Chebab, Kunafa, Arabic coffee and other traditional UAE dishes.

We are urgently looking for an experienced Head Chef who can independently lead the entire kitchen and back-of-house operation—from kitchen setup and recipe standardization to production, staffing, hygiene and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare authentic Emirati street food, desserts and bakery products.
• Lead the complete kitchen and back-of-house operations.
• Develop and standardize recipes, portions and presentation.
• Maintain consistent taste, authenticity and product quality.
• Plan daily production and ensure timely order preparation.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise kitchen staff.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, food costs and wastage.
• Establish kitchen SOPs and food-safety standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers and management.
• Support menu development, product trials and restaurant launch.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional culinary, bakery or pastry experience.
• Authentic experience preparing Emirati, Khaleeji or Arabic food is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in Luqaimat, Ragag, Jebab/Chebab, Kunafa or similar products will be a major advantage.
• Experience managing a commercial kitchen and back-of-house team.
• Strong knowledge of recipe costing, portion control, hygiene and inventory.
• Leadership skills and the ability to take complete ownership of kitchen operations.
• UAE or GCC restaurant experience will be highly preferred.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Rawalpindi/Islamabad.
