Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site Fashion Designer role based in Lahore (work from home). The Fashion Designer will research trends, develop design concepts, create sketches, and prepare technical specifications for new collections. Daily responsibilities include selecting fabrics and textiles, collaborating with pattern makers and sample makers, overseeing fittings, and refining garments to achieve the desired silhouette and quality. The role also involves working closely with production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately, contributing to embroidery and embellishment decisions, and maintaining brand consistency across all pieces. The Fashion Designer will participate in collection planning, provide input for lookbooks or presentations, and support ongoing improvements to the design process.
Job Specification:
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, including concept development, sketching, and collection building.
- Experience working with Textiles, including fabric selection, drape, and material behavior.
- Proficiency in Embroidery and related embellishment techniques for detailed garment finishes.
- Skilled in Fitting, garment adjustments, and collaboration with pattern and sample makers.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to work on-site in a studio environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD tools) is an asset.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and quality.
- Candidate MUST reside in Lahore.
- Candidate MUST be able to travel to markets in Lahore on regular basis to run errands.
- Candidate MUST be able to work Eastern Standard time to take video calls with owners in Toronto, Canada.
- Candidate Must have access to transportation.
