Production Manager - Garments

Job Description: HRFINEBOXING is seeking a Production Manager to oversee garment manufacturing operations at its Gujranwala location. The role is responsible for coordinating production activities, maintaining quality and delivery standards, and ensuring that people, materials, and machinery are used efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily and weekly production against order specifications, capacity, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate cutting, sewing, finishing, packing, and related production teams to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Track output, productivity, material use, and production costs; identify bottlenecks and implement practical improvements.
• Maintain garment quality standards through in-process checks, corrective actions, and collaboration with quality staff.
• Coordinate with procurement, stores, maintenance, and merchandising teams to address material and equipment needs.
• Enforce workplace safety, production procedures, and timely reporting of operational issues.
• Lead and develop supervisors and production staff, setting clear targets and reviewing performance.

The successful candidate will combine hands-on garment production knowledge with sound planning, team leadership, and a focus on dependable order fulfillment.Job Specification:

• Practical knowledge of garment manufacturing workflows, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.
• Ability to prepare production plans, allocate capacity, and track progress against delivery deadlines.
• Experience monitoring productivity, line efficiency, material consumption, and production costs.
• Understanding of garment quality control, defect prevention, and corrective action processes.
• Strong team leadership and communication skills, including the ability to guide supervisors and production workers.
• Problem-solving skills for resolving workflow, staffing, material, and machinery constraints.
• Competence with production records, spreadsheets, and routine operational reporting.
• Familiarity with workplace safety practices and cross-functional coordination with stores, procurement, maintenance, and merchandising.
