ICA/Appeal/Revision cases at 1.5x‏ ‎and allotment matters of industrial contingency.‏ ‎Estate in Punjab will be preferred.‏ ‎Advocate of the High Court with a | Rs. 75,000/- per month (inclusive of‏ ‎Tax minimum of five (05) years’ practical | taxes) + Rs. 10,000/- contingent charges‏ ‎Lawyer 01 experience in Tax Law, including | per case and travel allowance up to‏ ‎expertise in Income Tax, Sales Tax,‏ ‎and related tax matters. appearance/assignment related to tax‏ ‎matters.‏ ‎Terms and Conditions:‏ ‎(i) The appointment of Legal Advisor and Tax Lawyer on part-time basis at FIEDMC, Faisalabad shall‏ ‎be governed under the instructions issued by the Govt. of Punjab, Law & Parliamentary Affairs‏ ‎Department for appointment of Legal Advisors in the Autonomous bodies dated 14.05.2011 (as‏ ‎amended from time to time). The appointment will be subject to final approval by the Govt. of Punjab,‏ ‎Law & Parliamentary Affairs Department.‏ ‎(ii) The Legal Advisor shall be required to represent FIEDMC in cases before the Lahore High Court,‏ ‎Lahore District Courts Faisalabad, Tribunals, Revenue Autharities etc. and to provide legal advice on all‏ ‎matters concerning the Company. Responsibilities include vetting of legal documents, drafting of‏ ‎notices, replies, petitions, and rendering legal opinions as required.‏ ‎(iii) The Tax Lawyer shall represent FIEDMC in matters before the Income Tax Tribunal, Punjab‏ ‎Revenue Authority Appellate Tribunal, and Lahore High Court. Responsibilities include providing legal‏ ‎advice on tax matters, filing Income Tax and Sales Tax returns, Tax Exemption matters and drafting‏ ‎replies to notices issued by Tax Authorities.‏ ‎(iv) The selected Legal Advisor/Tax Lawyer will be appointed on a part-time, purely temporary basis‏ ‎at a remuneration which may be less than the maximum offered. The initial appointment shall be for‏ ‎two year, extendable upon satisfactory performance, and may be terminated at any time by either party‏ ‎upon one month’s notice. Payment of contingency charges shall be subject to approval, and any‏ ‎expenses incurred in connection with the disposal of cases shall be reimbursed upon submission of‏ ‎verified claims. All payments shall be made strictly in accordance with organizational rules, statutory‏ ‎provisions, and upon certification of satisfactory performance.‏ ‎{v) The appointed Legal Advisor/Tax Lawyer shall be bound to protect the interests of FIEDMC,‏ ‎Faisalabad. During the engagement period, the appointee shall not appear in any matter detrimental to‏ ‎the interest of FIEDMC, nor represent any office, agency, or party against the Company. FIEDMC shall‏ ‎not provide office space, staff, law books, official vehicle, or any other facilities.‏ ‎(vi) Incomplete applications shall not be entertained. Only shortlisted
